Privacy Policy - Apple Arcade Service

Updated on October 5, 2019

Esteban Alejandro Durán Yáñez (“Ogre Pixel”) operates Ogre Pixel's game applications (“Games”) on Apple Arcade service. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the application.

Ogre Pixel’s Privacy Policy is designed to provide clarity regarding your use of Games published and made available to you by Apple through its Apple Arcade service. By installing and using our Games, you agree to Ogre Pixel’s Privacy Policy. If you have questions or complaints regarding our privacy policy or practices, please contact us as described below.

IMPORTANCE OF THIS POLICY

Ogre Pixel and its subsidiary companies know that you care how information about you is used and shared. We respect the privacy rights of consumers, and recognize the importance of protecting your information. Accordingly, we have adopted this global online Privacy Policy regarding your information as follows:

DATA COLLECTION AND USAGE

Our Games use only services provided by Apple. For information on data stored by Apple services, please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not store personal or gameplay data on our servers. We do not share any data with third parties.

Although the Apple Arcade version of our Games make use of player data, our Games do not send this data to Ogre Pixel or other developers. All data described in this Privacy Policy is stored locally on your device or sent only to Apple (for Game Center or iCloud).

If you do not want the Games to collect this data and information, then you must delete the Games from your device and, if you have enabled saving information in iCloud, from iCloud.

In order to participate in Apple’s Game Center, the Games will also collect (i) your Apple Game Center Team Player ID and (ii) your progress in the Games (e.g., levels completed, scores, coins collected, and unlockables). You can turn off tracking of this information—but if you do, then certain features of the Games won’t work. For example, you won’t be able to keep your coins collected or unlockables.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We handle data from children under 13 years of age, or equivalent minimum age in the child’s relevant jurisdiction, in the same way as other users and as described in this Policy. We limit our data collection and use to persistent identifiers to support the internal operations of the game only as set forth in the exception to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (“COPPA”) at 16 C.F.R. 312.2. Furthermore, such data collection and use is collected with a Legitimate Interest as set forth in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

If you are a parent, you can decline to have that data collected from your child by turning off iCloud for our game and signing your child out of Game Center.

OPTING OUT OF DATA COLLECTION

You may decline to store data in iCloud or to send data to Game Center. To turn off iCloud data storage, you must turn off iCloud in Apple Settings for Games. As a result, you will only be able to play in single player offline mode. To stop sending data to Game Center, you must sign out of Game Center in Apple Settings. As a result, you will not appear on leaderboards.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will also update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
